Hastings Pier was a favourite rock gig location throughout the Sixties.

The Pier was a one of the big gigs in Sussex and featured on the circuit for professional bands and big stars.

Local professional Brighton bands Bobby Sansom & the Giants and Shelley topped the bill at the Pier on Saturday evenings.

Big names such as the Rolling Stones were among many star bands that performed there.
