The Devil's Bar named after The Devil's Dyke, a local Sussex beauty spot on the South Downs.

The Devil's Bar was located in Poynings just outside Brighton.

During the Sixties many local bands played at weekend gigs at the Bar and during the annual Hungerstop charity years the Bar supported the charity by hosting charity evenings featuring local artists.
