The Atlantic Bar, Hannau
One of the best club dates the band ever played, the atmospheric A-Bar, as the Americans from the local air bases called it, was a wonderful mix of cultures.
The band were so loved at the club that Trevor frequently sang in amongst the audience on the dance floor, because so many finger-popping black American airmen gathered on stage, doing dance routines and singing backup to their Motown and Soul favourites, that there was not enough room for him on stage.
