The Evening Argus reports the departure from Brighton station of Bobby Sansom and The Giants for their month’s residency at the Star-Club, Hamburg, the world's most famous rock club.  The Giants, Brighton’s premier rock band, would be alongside Jerry Lee Lewis, Johnny and the Hurricanes, Fats Domino, The Nashville Teens, The Checkmates, Tony Sheridan, King Size Taylor and the Dominoes and the Bobby Patrick Big Six.
